We’re all about connecting kids to God and one another in a safe and fun environment.
Sunday 9:30AM & 11AM
Our weekend programs for kids are designed to convey the story of God in an engaging and kid-targeted way. Every kiddo from age 2 and up will enjoy a large and a small group experience. Large group is designed for praise and worship as well as the creative presentation of a Bible story. Small group is designed for kids to connect with a smaller group of their peers while enjoying an interactive activity crafted to reinforce the biblical truths learned during large group. Small groups are guided by caring volunteers.
(6 WEEKS – PRESCHOOL)
The Excite ministry is designed to introduce kids to three “exciting” truths: God Made Me. God Loves Me. Jesus Wants To Be My Best Friend Forever.
(KINDERGARTEN – 2ND GRADE)
The Explore ministry is designed to help kids explore a relationship with God by building an authentic friendship with Jesus.
(3RD GRADE – 5TH GRADE)
The Extreme ministry is designed to help kids develop meaningful relationships and a passion for Jesus.
Your child’s safety is our number one priority in Met Kids. We have a number of safety measures in place to ensure every child is safe and secure during their time with us.
- Every adult volunteer and staff member in Met Kids is background checked and trained.
- Parents receive a pick-up tag upon check-in that has a unique 4-digit code corresponding with their kid(s) tag. Children will only be released to an adult that has a tag with a code that matches the child’s.
- Met Kids is a secure environment that is not accessible from outside doors. All doors accessing the Kid’s environment magnetically lock 15 minutes after service starts. Only individuals that have a “pick-up” tag may gain access to Met Kids.
What Happens At Home Is More Important Than What Happens At Church.
Met Kids is passionate about partnering with parents as they take the lead in building up their kids with a faith that lasts.
The Parent Cue is a monthly resource designed to help every parent do something each week to help move their child toward a deeper faith and a better future. You may pickup a hard copy in the wall container just outside of each classroom or download the Parent Cue App.
God Time Card
The GodTime Card is a devotional for kids that will help them focus their attention as they spend time reading the Bible and talking to God at home. We encourage parents to set aside 10 or 15 minutes each night facilitating the GodTime cards to their children. Your child will receive a GodTime card each weekend they attend an elementary service in Met Kids.
Ready To Serve?
If you’re an adult looking to make a lasting impact in the next generation, we have a place for you!
This is a special event that provides parents with the opportunity to publicly acknowledge that God has given His children to them on loan and affirm their commitment to raising their kids in a home that leads them to a sincere faith in Jesus. The Dedication event includes a reception before the main worship service followed by a special ceremony during service. Due to limited space in our reception hall, we can accommodate up to 10 people in your party for the reception.
Next Dedication Event is Sunday, March 5 at 9:30 & 11am
