Pastor Bill is passionate about seeing people make a profession of faith to follow Jesus. In 1996, he and his late wife, Cindy, started The Met to reach people through an energetic service with practical messages. His weekly messages are always Biblically centered and delivered in a practical way that people can understand the Word of God and apply it to their everyday lives. He is known for his trust in God during difficult times and transparently sharing how God is moving and working. He uniquely and creatively shares God’s Word in an effort for others to follow Jesus. He often says, “If you don’t know Jesus, I highly recommend Him!”

Besides the church, Bill is passionate about his family and his ranch in Ponder, Texas near the church. You’ll often find him hanging out with his longhorns and his family making wonderful memories. In 2015, Bill’s wife, Cindy, was diagnosed with an incurable brain disease – Huntington’s Chorea. In May 2019, Cindy transitioned from her earthly body to her heavenly home. Cindy’s legacy continues to live on through our vibrant ministries, community outreach, and emphasis on the next generation.
